The Ending Truth
Symarea stopped. "Knight isn't here anymore.."
Shense frowned. "So I noticed.."
Symarea laughed lightly. "He knows I am here..." She smiled.
"So..He is hiding?" Garrison asked, slightly shocked.
Symarea shook her head. "No.." her voice sadden. "He has gone to tell Chihiro the good news.."
Garrison frowned in confusion. "Why is that a bad thing?"
Shense narrowed his eyes at Symarea. "Where are you going..?"
Garrison looked from Shense to Symarea, who just hung her head in silence.
"To see me."
Symarea's eyes widen. Her body froze. This..couldn't be, she thought to herself. No..I killed him..He is gone..He is... Slowly, she turned herself around. Only to come face to face with her long time nightmare.
"Hello again, Symarea." Konoro grineed. "Did you miss me?"
Symarea stepped back from him. Fear had consumed her, trapping her voice in her throat.
Shense's eyes locked on Konoro. Anger grew from inside him. He didn't know the reason this one brought such anger alive in him, but he knew he would soon find out.
Konoro smirked. "Tsk tsk Goddess.. So afraid of yourself you erased his memory? With me, you were never frightened...You killed mindlessly, bathed in the blood, even drank it as if it was your lifeline...Do you remember those days Symarea?" His voice purred with delight as he stepped towards her. "I find this humorous..The way you are now..Such hipocrisy..You preach against killing, you prevent wars between the immortals, you heal the living, feed the starving, and take in the lonely. It is quite...Sickening." Konoro laughed.
Symarea raged towards him. Fear turned to fire and tears in her eyes. She hit him repeatedly, effortlessly, while she screamed, "Why are you still alive?! I killed you! I tored your immortal soul to shreds! I had sealed every life you could ever aquire away! Why?! Why do you continue to haunt me?!"
Konoro held onto her shoulders, letting her continue to hit him. His hair covered his eyes. "You are broken Symarea. You are no longer needed. God and Lucifer no longer need you."
Symarea froze.
Konoro's voice, darek and serious, continued. "Neither have the heart to tell you, if they even possess hearts. You have no purpose. You never did. You were a tool my father and his 'brother' used from the beginning. Pure entertainment for them both. You were used to get rid of the one's who could, in time, overthrow them. Now, you are not needed nor wated by either of them. You have no purpose. You are nothing."
Symarea fell to her knees. He wasn't lying to her. She knew she was nothing. She knew her life was a life. Symarea knew each word he spoke, was true. She had spent most of this life helping everyone else find what she could never have. A reason for her life. "I shouldn't exist...I should have died that day I was created.."
"Don't. Don't you dare listen to a word he says Symarea." Shense growled. His eyes almost black as blood dripped from both his hands, nails dug deep within his palms.
"Why should't I?" Symarea's voice spoke as soft as rose petals in the wind. "He speaks the truth. I was living my life before you knew me. I am nothing. I am nothing. Nothing longing to be something. I have ignored the truth I have known."
"No one is nothing if they can continue to live as you have." Shense eyes closed as he controlled the rage that had built inside him.
"The way she has? You mean by accepting a lie and forcing her aura to change so people like her as they do you?" Konoro smirked.
Shense held the tip of his sword to Konoro's throat. "You. Be silent."
"Awww..Is the big bad vampy going to make me?" Konoro mocked.
"I remember you now. Annoyance." Shense's tone darkened. His fangs grew as black wings tore from his back. "Always hurting her.. You are the only nothing here. You will not leave alive."
Konoro smirked. "We'll see." He brought his leg up and kicked Symarea from inbetween them and into the nearby building. He looked to Shense. "Ooo...Touchy. Why bother vampire? You know the only reason you care for her is because she reminds you of someone." He grinned.
"You know nothing." Shense spoke shakingly. The anger in his voice rose. He charged at Konoro, his mind empty of rational thought.
Their swords clashed. Konoro laughed. Over and over again, the swords ringing played. One man highly amused, the other with the never ending though to destroy his opponent.
Symarea watched the battle from where she lay. "This is all because of me..I always cause this..this pain..I'm sorry...Chihiro, Shense, everyone...I am sorry. I am sorry for existing and causing you to do this. Forcing you all to love and care for me. I am the worst monster to know..The one who maniuplates feelings, emotions. I should never have existed. God..Lucifer..I am sorry for being the burden you have carried for all these years. God..Destroy me..I know what I have done to your people. I know I cannot be forgiven. End their torment, make it stop. Destory me." Symarea closed her eyes, letting light engulf her entirly. A voice, comforting, gentle, and sweet, spoke from the light.
Do not listen to he who speaks for me. As the devil's son, his words are lies. My child, this world is not your fault. Do not ask of me to destroy someome so precious to this life. Do not ask of me to destroy one of my angels who has done no wrong. For I will not. You needn't me to tell you who you are. The one you seek is inside you. Open your eyes my child. You are not fallen, but lost. Open your eyes..See who you are.."
Symarea opened her eyes slowly, peering into the light. "Book..." She whispered. Her hand reached for it. Her fingers brushed its spin. Her palm enclosed around it. She was home.
Awaken...Seraphim of the Wise and Knowledgable.
She stood as the light around her soak into her skin. Wings of gold filled the space behind her back. Blue eye's shown with hair of white as she raced through the air towards the two fighting. In between them she dove, swords both piercing her skin deeply. Though she did not scream, she felt the pain. Only a smile appeared on her face.
Shense and Konoro gazed wide-eyed and shocked at Symarea as the floated towards the ground. All three touched ground, the swords pulled from Symarea's body, Shense catching her as she fell.
"She finally realizes who she is...My work here..is done." Konoro knealed in front of Shense and kissed Symarea's forehead. "Goodbye...My love.." He whispered with a soft smile upon his face. Konoro stood, turned away, and walked into the distance, disappearing as he went. Nothing but a ghost.
Garrison and Dante hurried over to Shense. Both were blood stained from their own secret battle with Taraven, who no longer lived.
Dante's face paled. "Is..Is she dead?"
Shense shook his head. "She is not dead."
Garrison sighed. "I don't sen--"
"She is not dead!" Shense snapped. "I won't let her be.."
Dante knealed in front of them both, Garrison following after.
"We won't let her die either." Dante said reassuringly.
"We know there is a little girl waiting for her at home. We won't let her die." Garrison said with a nod.
"We need out friend."
"Yes..We need our friend."
Shense nodded as he held Symarea close. If she died, it would be by his hand too. Something he couldn't bare to see again. Someone he was trying to save, he ended up killing instead.
All three held touch to Symarea. Combining their energy to heal her with one though in mind. 'She must awaken'. Lights formed around them and clashed into one. The combind light formed around their friend.
"Come back Syma.." Dante whispered.
"We need you.." Garrison whispered shortly afterwards.
"Please.." Shense whipsered, a tear rolling down his cheek as another followed on the otherside. "Come back to us.." he leaned over and kissed her lips softly.
Symarea turned her head to the side and coughed as her wounds healed. Life had returned to her. Slowly her eyes opened. She reached up, wiping Shense's tears gently from his cheek. "Hey now..Don't cry.." Symarea smiled weakly. "I am alright.."
"Good..She's.." Dante began.
"Awake.." Garrison finished as they both fell over, asleep.
Shense embraced Symarea close. "Don't ever do that agian..I won't lose you again..I won't..." He shook his head as he held her tighter.
Symarea sighed then smiled. She held Shense as tight as he held her. "You won't ever lose me...I will always be here.." She kissed the top of Shense's head. "Rest..You have done well to deserve it.." She laid him down with his head in her lap. Softly she carressed his hair as she sang him to sleep.
As long as the sun shines.. As long as the moon glows.. I will be here fore you.. As long as the wind blows.. As long as the water flows.. I will be here for you..
There is nothing that will stop me From climbing the tallest mountain, Sailing on the farthest seas, Dvining the deepest oceans... There is nothing that will stop me.. For I will always be there..
With you...
