We've had Rick with us for a good while, but a while ago he came to me and asked to be put on leave. He's definitely earned it. Since he's joined the team he's been a major asset, even if he took a while to get used to. He's kept the team's morale up and taken charge more times than I give him credit for. All this and he hasn't asked for a raise since we've took him in. He told me he just wants to get some rest, but I know him. When he's out there, he's going to be doing everything but. Either way, I approved his request. Whatever he's planning on doing, it's not merc work.
