Newbling: Adolesent, or teen-aged, ninja. This is the youngest a ninja can be given a nickname because one cannot be considered a ninja entill adolesence.

Wana-be:A ninja still in the acadamy, graduates who aren't exepted into a clan aren't considered newblings.

Mild Newb: A newb who has risen at least one rank amongst his/her ninja colleages.

Fully: A ninja who is only mildly respected and in the lower-mid ranks. Ninja of this rank have not been in any missions involving killing (Mild Newbs and lower are reserved for traping, tracking, recon., and other non violent missions)

Upper: A ninja who is well respected, in the upper-mid ranks, and has gone through the right of passage: killing an enemy ninja.

Beast: A ninja who has earned the respect of many ninja and has at least one large scar inflicted in battle. Beasts get their name from the fact that Newbs tend to admire them like teachers and most often receive mentoring from a Beasts.

Boss: Ninja who are feared for their great power, so much so that newbs are more like servent to them. Bosses begin to branch away from their clans at this point, sometimes with bloody voilence.
