Goddamn Cross would make a lousy airship captain. He has so few friends, he's not very social, he's a workaholic and would have to dock frequently. Terrible.
Oh yeah, Ion being immortal. He's probably gotten some stuff wrong through time. Like accidentally acquiring followers and then abandoning them because they weren't with him for the right reasons. Then accidentally making enemies of them =O
