Ion stood against his opponent. A martial artist, trained so well each limb was a deadly weapon. They would die this day.
"You will not survive this day, assassin" he said with his arms poised in front of him.
"Is that what you think?" Ion said as he stepped towards him, hook swords drawn. The artist circled around and tried to find a weak spot on his opponent. When he thought he had found one, the man struck.
Leaping through the metal blades and attacking the nerves of the assassin's arms, numbing them into useless pieces of flesh. His hook sword fell to the floor with a clang as his arm swayed.
He continued his assault, fist, leg, knee, elbow, all parts flowing forward in attempts to destroy the man before him.
Yet the man stood almost untouched, ducking back, avoiding, redirecting, all with one useless arm. At least until he kicked the martial artist back onto the ground.
The artist scrambled back to his feet and prepared himself to continue the fight before a fist introduced itself to his jugular. It then went around the corner and said hello to the back of his neck. By this time, the hook sword Ion held in his off hand had just hit the floor, clanging and falling next to it's brother.
Being one who relishes in overkill, Ion's knee flew up to grew the front of the man's nose and he fell to the floor.
"It would seem any other man attempting to complete an assassination, under these circumstances..." Ion gestured to his limp arm, "...would find themselves, at a disadvantage." Ion's shadow loomed over the man crumpled on the ground. "Unfortunately for you, and anyone whom I deem a target, I am not any other man."
His fingers jabbed at certain points on his arm, flicking and hitting. Then he raised his once useless arm. Ion clenched his fingers together and looked down at the heap of flesh beneath him.
The assassin raise his boot up and smashed it down, shatter the man's skull into fragments.
