A wolf howled off in the distance deserted landscape as patrons queued their drinks from the bartender.

One man with his hat brimmed down over his face ordered some water and showed the owner of the establishment a paper with a man's face on it.

"Have you seen this man?" he asked, putting a wad of bills on the table while maintaining his grip on it.

The barkeep looked at it a bit, scratched his balding head and said, "Oh I seen 'im 'afore. Come in with that fellow over there," while pointing his finger at a man enjoying a drink with some buddies of his.

"Thank you," the stranger said, pushing the wad forward and turning to walk towards the man.

"So I says to him, 'Give me one good reason why I shouldn't shoot your head off where you stand?' right right? And he says, 'Oh, cuz I gots me poor family to worry aboot!' Heh heh heh, so I says to him, here's what I says to him, 'Alright, I won't shoot your head off,' then I shot 'im in the balls! Oh hoo, can you believe it? Eh, heh, heh, hey whatcho lookin' at?"

The stranger looked at him, and then across to the rest of the group. "What's it worth to you boys to tell me where this man is?" he asked, holding up the picture.

The loud mouth snatched it up. He gawked at it for a while before crumpling it up and tossing it aside.

"Now that man's one of my boys now, and I ain't going to take kindly to some bounty hunter trying to take out one of my boys." He stood and his posse stood as well. People in the saloon began thinning out.

The stranger scoffed a little. "Now gentlemen, I don't mean any harm..." he walked around them, giving them a wide berth. He could see they were inching towards their holsters as time ticked away.

The stranger picked up the picture. "Can't we talk about this, like gentlemen over a bottle of spirits? Can you toss me one barkeep?" The bartender did as he was told, eager to avoid an altercation.

The cork popped off.

"I think we might be able to do some... negotiating." The foul man's greed was perhaps matched by his ignorance.

The stranger smirked. "Yes, we shall have some of that won't we?"

He flicked his wrist which held the paper, pulling a match from his long-sleeved black trench coat. No one noticed however, they were too busy noticing him shove the paper into the bottle. Had they noticed, they might have avoided him lighting the portrait.

"What are you...?" the man attempted to draw his firearm and curse at the same time, a feat that proved too difficult for him as the stranger smashed the flaming bottle of alcohol across his face.

It exploded in flame, igniting the two of them and sending his posse spiraling back. The stranger and the foul man both were in flame, and yet it seemed as though only the foul man noticed.

The bounty hunter grabbed his collar as they both burned and turned to face his allies.

"I have come to seek a man who deserves death or he will bring ruin to this world. You men will guide me to him, else I don't think whatever Hell you believe you're going to will match my cruelty." He dropped the cadaver. His clothes burning, his flesh peeling and regrowing. The fire raged on.
