capt. deep and the commodor stepped outside his room only to be met with water and a sudden steep hill. the men were fleeing the ship and jumping into the small extra life boat. "your men arent so weak eh?" capt. deep mocked him. "if i had known it would be this easy i would have just blown a hole in your ship to begin with!" she ran off before he could do anything more, and as she leapt to l;and in her boat, she laughed at the fate of the naval ship. the extra boat had overturned, and the commodor was still abpard. she prayed for sharks. she landed on her deck, and landed in a heap. it was quite a jump. she got up, and the entire crew did a damage check. they had lost but one pirate alone, and they lit a candle in his memory. she resumed her place at the wheel, and the anchor was hoisted. she looked behind them only momentarily to gaze at the sinking ship. was that smoke she saw? ther navy men were making a smoke signal with a few dry pieces of their ship. "a futial effort" she mumbled, and then steered them on course. they werent half way there, and yet they had been delayed so many times for so long it seemed they were making almost no progress at all. she smiled. that woul change soon enough. she couldnt wait for the lazy days of just turning the wheel, eating, dinking, and sleeping she had loved so much in her early days as a pirate, when she wasnt the most wanted woman on the sea. she remembered those times. they werent her favorite memories. sohe got no respect, because she was rather small for her age, and she still was. not only that, but she was a woman. she was low as far as rankings on the ship. she was the only pirate who was left back on the ship to watch the parrot. but that changed when she earned up enough gold to buy her own ship, secretly sneaking small amounts into a chest of her own from the captains savings. he never counted his winnings. she was a much better captain of any ship than that captian could ever be.she had killed him years later when the two ships had gotten into a dispute. she had given him her name, he had gasped, and it was lights out for him. she wouldnt go down so easily. it was just the begining, and she was looking forward to the end.
