Back to the norm..or abnorm
Everything had somewhat gone back to normal.
Aussa continued to play and beat random video games and even fished on her own from time to time.
Tina went back to her tree which was healthy again. She stayed there day and night, tending to the tree and eating it's fruits.
Calico and Wolven went back to chasing each other around and playing.
Koopling was back on her post right outside the front door, scaring off small animals and humans.
Whiplash, when he's not bein worn as a belt or a weapon by Aussa, Koopa, or Tina, spent his time curled up in a corner or watching over Calico and Wolven as they played.
Zapook had been visiting more often lately and became good friends with Tina, and an aunt to Aussa.
The only thing that had changed was down in the cellar, Lex was bounded and frozen to a wall, with all of his powers sealed away.
One morning Koopa came in after being gone for a day, but wasn't in her usual cat form. Her tail was short and scaley, her shell pack was fused onto her torso. Her cat features were gone.
She kicked the door open, draging into two dead humans and a small white sack.
Tina was sitting next to Aussa, watching her play the game cube.
She looked at the bodies and immediately yelled, "What on Earth is all this?"
Koopa glared at her and snarled, "It's called food. I stopped by dragon's place and picked them up."
"That's where you were all this time?"
"Jeez, I come home after visiting an old friend and get questioned instead of gettin a welcome?"
"I'm sorry...You left without sayin anything..."
"...It's aight. I haven't eaten in awhile so...just a little grumpy."
Pausing her game, Aussa took one look at Koopa and said, "So..why do you look like a turtle?"
"And who is this friend you paid a visit to?", Tina added.
Koopa dropped the bodies band threw the sack over her shoulders. "First of all, I'm not a turtle. Second, I went to see the King, which is why I look like this."
"The king?" Aussa stared confused at Koopa.
"Oh..and...Koopa? That sack...is that bread for our brother?"
"Yep."
"You know...He needs more than bread..."
"Don't start complainin about what food i give him. If it were up to me, I would kill him."
"You mustn't! He's family!"
Ignoring her sister, Koopa headed down the steps to see Zapook down there, checking up on Lex. Lex was hanging from the wall in titanium shackles and seemed as though he was ready to drop dead. Panting, he slowly turned his head toward Koopa which caused Zapook to look as well. She whirled around and waved while wagging her wolf tail.
"Heya! More food huh?"
"Yeah. Thanks for helpin out by the way."
"Oh no problem! I dont mind helpin you and your friends out! I still feel as though I owe them! Besides, you need someone to help by keeping this guy's powers sealed away."
Koopa hugged Zapook and gave her the sack full of bread. Just as the two of them started to speak with each other, Aussa yelled from the top of the steps. "Koopa! Some one is at the door for you!"
Sighing heavily, Koopa made her way up the steps, leaving Zapook to finish Lex's check up, and poked her head out the cellar's door.
"What!? What do you want!?....who the hell is that?"
At the door, a girl, about Aussa's size, with floppy dog ears, and a matching tail.
She spoke with a high voice, "Hi... I saw you passing by and I wanted to...Just..ask a few questions..."
Koopa stared back her with suprised expression. 'Uh oh...'
