I walked in the Relay for Life this past weekend down with my cousin and her BF and his familly. It was over all quite fun. ^-^
Even if it WAS raining the whole time... and I ended up feeling like crap because of something that happened... and I was UBER-jealous of the couple that was there. They reminded me just how much I miss my koibiko... But it was fun. Amazingly enough.
My feet finally stopped hurting after work, so i'll probably end up staying after one of these days to enjoy the park as a guest instead of making sure the stupid people don't drown in a lazy river. stare
And as soon as my toe stops peeling from the really nice scrape it got from 'saving' my test dummy FROM said lazy river. That current is stronger than it looks, dudes. And the water's a heck of a lot shallower. v-vU
But I passed with flying colours. Got there in 22 seconds, when 30 is the limit. And that's AFTER I fumbled for my whistle (we HAVE to blow it long and hard before getting wet) and fought past the empty (and full) tubes between it and me.
I'm almost proud.
Just glad it wasn't a real kid.
ANYway... *finds a pillow and cries into it* depression isn't fun. Either that, or SOMEthing is really wrong with me... I am not normal. A person shouldn't have to fight crying in the middle of the day for no reason other than sore feet. A person shouldn't have to fight to stay concentrated on a conversation when a song comes on that makes them remember good times and love. A 'normal' person doesn't go from maniacal laughing to wanting to tear someones throat out to wanting to fall in a hole and die in 2 seconds flat.
