Dihnoro's diary
This is a journal about his earlier life and personal notes (very detailed)
Wings of the Loss
The third clue Dihnoro had been given was proving quite easy, thanks to the last line, 'Their terrain is an evolved moutain....' - which suggests that it is a volcano, meaning the next god summon is fire. But yet again, Dihnoro was puzzled where to find him. He supposed he would be waiting at the nearest volcano, Mount Yestin, so yet again, he had to fly there. Taking to the cloud filled skies, Dihnoro made his way to the volcano using a map he found in the town a while back. After a few hours of gliding as the crow flies, Dihnoro had finally reached the volcano. However, the volcano was a high climb, and Dihnoro was exhausted after flying hours on end, so found himself about half way up the giant hill from his wings help. He folded them back in, deciding to walk the rest of the way up on the winding dirt path. The air up here was getting humid, and Dihnoro was sweating a little under the heat. As he walked he could hear a faint voice, a girl's voice, and ran over to where it was coming from. He turned the corner to see a woman, not that old, around nineteen, twenty at most, hunched up, leaning on a nearby rock, She was cluching her leg, which was slightly bleeding. " Thank goodness someone came," she cried, looking up in the boys eyes. " Looks like that leg needs healing," Dihnoro remarked, then went over to the girl and put his hands together over the wound. A light aura surrounded both the hands and the leg, until the cut had disappeared. Dihnoro took his hands away, and faced the girl. " Thank you so much, but what are you doing up here?" she asked. " I'm on a quest to find all my gods and earn them as summons, I'm up here to find Andriallo, God of Fire. My name is Dihnoro, what's yours?" he questioned.

" Oh, I'm Maria, sorry I didn't say before. I was just on a little wonder, when I stumbled on a rock and hurt my leg. I would like to repay you for healing me, so I think I'll help you in your quest." she said gleefully. " Uh, thanks, I think...." Dihnoro said to the girl. "Uh, I don't mean to be rude, but how can you help?" he thought out loud to Maria. " I'm mainly a melee fighter, I have my shadow brass knuckles, but I can use a little dark magic when I need to." she responded modestly, not giving away her true power. " That could be quite useful actually, seen as I don't have dark spells, so your welcome to join me. But I'm not totally focused on my quest at the moment, I mean I will continue with it, but I travel to bars and inns a lot in my spare time." Dihnoro said, still wondering if she would carry on following him. " It's not a problem, I can wait, I'll just come with you wherever you go!" she replied happily, walking up the path, leading the way to the fire god. Dihnoro jogged up to her, walking by her side, confused by the amount of trust and faith she had just given him, basically when she had just met him.
Soon enough, the pair were at the top, greeted by a waiting god. " You've made it then Dihnoro, and brought company I see," Andriallo stated. " Yup, and I'm here to stay!" Maria said. " Fair enough. My task to you is this. Your wings us gods have given you have proven quite the blessing. But what if they were to be taken away? The task is that I am going to remove your wings, and you have to find another pair. Simple." Andriallo grinned.
" But how am I meant to get back to the town? It took hours with my wings, it will take days without them! I'll starve!" Dihnoro yelled back. " I'm sure you'll think of something." Andriallo reassured Dihnoro, then with that he cast a fire bolt that destroyed both wings. With a confident look, the god faced Dihnoro, and told him these few words beofre turning into a small ball of light and returning to the heavens." I will return when you have completed my task. I believe you can do this Dihnoro, without your wings just makes you that- wingless. It's not a big deal."
"How are we going to get back to my town?" Dihnoro questioned his partner. " I kinda didn't reveal all of my powers to you....I have plant magic as well. My mother was a flora mage for a queen back where I was born. I'm sure I can create vines for us to slide down as a quick way to get back." Maria smiled a half smile, then looked back at Dihnoro. " I think I'm gunna be needing you," Dihnoro chuckled to her, knowing that the journey would secure there friendship as firm allies.
Maria presented the two vines and as they both got onto them they smiled back at each other, then rode off into the horizon.
