Shadow has an interesting life story.

A Shadow demon whore and the king of Dragon demons spent one night of passion, that should never had occured. The shadow woman became with child, but the father wanted nothing to do with her any more. So when the child was born, she abandoned the tiny baby girl.
The mixed breed child was found by the silver wolf, Kioko, who raised her to become one of the greatest female theives in the Makai. Together, the became the Midnight Sisters, and reigned at the top of their game.
Then Zotoro entered the scene. He became the mate of Shadow, giving her a son, and for three years they were happy. Then, baby Kuro, the center of Shadow's universe, was murdured by his father. It was sudden, unexpected, and the woman went into shock. She was transferred to a holding cell, where Zotoro did his worst to try and force Shadow to summon the Dragons of the Elements.
Eventually, she was rescued by Damian, Kyo, and Meric; the three became gaurdians of the ShadowDragon Princess, until such time as she finds her prince...
