Joy as this

Joy, a simple thing such as this
It warms my heart with much bliss
But with such a thing there is pain
This is something I wish not to gain

I laugh and smile
I cry in sorrow
These are simple things
That life will bring

We play and sing
We do all sorts of things
Then comes the day
We may pay

This pain will rise
It will surely thrive
Digging in our hearts
Tearing us apart

Will we give in?
Or will we win?
I will try if you do
Then we can win, just us two

Lets remember the things of good
The joys of being together like we should
We can do it
We will prove it

A new beginning we will gain
And with it may be little more pain
Lets continue on
For you and I truly belong
