The Farthest Star
Somewhere out there, people will listen. They just have to look up at the stars.
Is There Really a God
Every Sunday I go to church. I sit in the benches with my family and fold my hands in prayer. I recite the Our Father and the Creed and give the responses. I kneal and I take the eucharist. I have completed my first communion, reconciliation, and conformation. But there is one thing that makes me a poor catholic. I don't believe in God. At least, I'm not so sure if he really exists. I don't doubt Jesus one bit. I believe that he was a good person who did kind things for people and tried to teach us to be kind to one another. But God is still a mystery to me. I mean, whenever things go well, he is praised. Whenever things go wrong, the he works in mysterious ways. There is a scientific and logical explanation behind almost ever phenominon that has occured under God's name is the bible. The plagues can be explained, the flood, the covenant arc...the list goes on. There is evidence that supports evolution but only a book that supports creationism. For all we know, the bible could have been the work of a man trying to convince simpletons for far earlier times. I simply don't know.
