(The title actually has nothing to do with anything. ;D )
I have friends. It's fascinating.
Some of my friends are rather...one might say annoying, but that's only if you don't know them. I could say interesting. I would gladly say intriguingly strange. They amount up to basically the same thing.
Some of them are loud, and some of them are quiet, and some of them are sad, and some of them are happy enough for two people. Some of them are angry, and some of them are content, and some of them are pretty indifferent about most things.
And some of them are more than one of those.
So it's pretty interesting to watch my friends interact with the world from day to day. And it's pretty interesting to wonder what would have happened if even just one thing was different. If just one event hadn't happened, just one sentence hadn't been spoken, would the whole world be different?
Personally, I blame all my philosophical thinking on quantum mechanics and Terry Pratchett. In theory, there's this thing called the "multiverse", which is made up of a bunch of parallel universes, existing more or less independently from each other. And each universe represents a possibility or a choice. So there is a universe for every single choice you could make, every single answer you could give.
Weird, huh?
