Have you ever felt like you wanted to do something but felt you didn't deserve it? Have you ever wanted to do something but couldn't share it with your family?

That's how I feel about my birthday. It's just another occassion where my whole family looks at me with great expectations to have a grand old time with them because they love me and are so proud of me and please kill me now.

Every year, it's "What would you like for your birthday?" and "What are your plans for your birthday?" and "Who do you want to invite?" and "Is there any special girl you want to have at your birthday party?" Every year, I feel like they're pressuring me into having a good birthday party. rolleyes It's not like I don't want to have a good birthday bash, but jeez.

And to add to the problem, this will be my eighteen birthday party. I've actually gotten a comment from my aunt along the lines of, "So are you going to a strip club for your birthday?" NO! Well, at least not with my family. sweatdrop Come on, that's just too gross to think about going to a strip club with my mom. gonk
