>The following recording was found in the black vox at the Valhallen 455th base on planet Gravalax. The planet fell to a splinter of Hive Fleet Kraken, and the recording is thought to be from the Hive Mind itself. It seems unheard of, but this creature speaking, a sort of herald creature we assume evolved for just this purpose, is real. This is one of the most chilling insights into any Xeno lifeform we have yet to encounter.

...Life forms known as the "Human Race," and the "Imperium of Man," we have come bearing a message. We have feasted on your flesh and your minds alike, extracting the information we needed allowing us to contact you.
This should be thought of not as a threat, but a fact. Your worlds will be consumed, and your cities will fall. For too long have you rested in this corner of the cosmos, content with your false Idol known as "The Emperor" and your pitiful "Technology." For too long has your arrogance and continued ignorance plagued this galaxy as much as our own hive fleets. Your time is over.
For countless eons we have journied through space, from the darkest pits of the coldest galaxies. We have consumed more worlds than you can even begin to imagine. And we will consume that many more ten-fold. Your warm flesh and weak minds cannot stand aganst the millions scuttling horrors we have, and our immortal hive mind. You may kill one fleet, maybe even a hundred, but how many more are on the way from deep space? You will never know until it is too late. Our numbers would make your most seasoned warriors throw down their weapons and kill themselves out of sheer hopelessness. For every planet we claim, our numbers multiply. As long as we take the world, what have we really lost? Nothing at all, unlike the pitiful excuse for a Hive you humans seem to have.
It is futile to resist us. All will be consumed by us. Every race, planet, and living thing in this cosmos will be eaten. We have seen and consumed hundreds, nay, millions of races in our trek through space. Whole civilizations have been ripped apart by our razor teeth, and snuffed out of existence forever. Many older, and more powerfull races than you have fallen, so what chance do YOU have?
So to you and your empire, we hope you know whats coming. Fight if you wish, it will gain you nothing but precious seconds to pray to your God-Emperor. You believe him a god? Then what does that make the Hive Mind? An entity older than your entire race and a million times more powerfull than your emperor.
Your guardsmen will be eaten under our scuttling swarms.
Your Marines Crushed by our Carnifex and Warriors.
Your cities will be anhilliated by our bio-weapons, and your planets drained of all life.
We know no fear, only instinct.
We know not pain, only hunger.
We are many, we are one.
We are the Hive, and your end draws near.

>A most disturbing notion to the Ordo Xenos...up until now we believed the Tyranids to only be an eating machine, a random force in the galaxy. This proves that they CAN think and strategize...a notion most disturbing considering their numbers. Do they know our weak points? Do they KNOW exactly how outnumbered we are? This all requires further investigation, and following this hive fleet of Kraken seems the best course of action. Its the only known fleet to have...well "spoken." And if this "Hive Mind" is as powerfull as the creature says...well Then Emperor help us all.
