I have lots of interesting dreams, but I forget many of them as the day goes on. This one, however, I remember quite clearly.
My family died in a strange explosion, which I was caught in too. But I didn't have a single burn on my body. I clearly recalled being consumed by flames at one point, but I walked away unscathed...and homeless.
While walking down the street of town (not my real town), I saw people that looked vaguely familiar run up to me and ask for my help. One of them was Hyde from That 70's Show, another was an woman who was banished from her Baptist church choir, and the last was Red XIII from Final Fantasy 7. They needed me to help them rescue a little kid. Apparantly, these people all had something in common with me. We were mutants like X Men and shunned by society.
I helped them save the child, who was also a mutant, but I got on the bad side of the local coincidentally-sinister government man. He said that he'd find us and have us disected. We escaped to an old, rickety, wet, uncomfortable, but rather large tree house. The five of us tried to make it livable, like cleaning it up and hooking up electricity. We only had a little bit of money between us. It was my job to run to the grocerette and stock our supplies with as much as our budget could fulfill. On the way there, I found my faithful calico cat, Miss Kitty. I thought she had perished in the explosion with the rest of my pets and family.
Miss Kitty had been hiding away in a building sceduled for destruction by the government man. I made sure to buy cat food at the grocerette. I had the feeling that my new friends weren't going to be happy, but they didn't mind. The next day was the day the building in town was supposed to be torn down and Miss Kitty had ran off. I tracked her down into the demolition zone, where I found a nest of little kittens in the corner. (This can't happen in reality because Miss Kitty is fixed) These weren't normal kittens. There were at least fifteen of them and the biggest one was the size of a mouse. Some were as small as jelly beans. But they were all living and thriving with health.
The government man had captured me and Miss Kitty when we let our guard down. He had the kittens boxed up to be sent to a laboratory. My friends came to rescue me with their mutant abilities but the kittens were already sent off. We tracked them down to the small animal experiment lab, where Miss Kitty and I snuck in. The others were planning an outer attack. I secured the kittens and just as the evil scientists were about to kill me with a laser gun, a huge mob of protestors with picket signs and pitchforks broke down the front wall and destroyed the lab, freeing all the animals. We saved the day and the kittens.
Then I woke up. The end.
