Misty tears flow
From eyes which one glowed
Haunting sadness reigns
Bringing too much pain...

The sounds of goodbye
Echo as loud as a sigh
The dreams broken into
No longer a me and you...

Darkness covers like
A midnight sky
As the words ring loudly
of goodbye...


The stars shine no more
The door to your heart closed
The emptiness and pain
Keep coming like a never ending rain...

Definitely not one of my best, but I enjoy writing some easy, simple poetry. ^^
