GD's Week has been rather slow, Maybe it's been due to the RL snow, However a lot of interesting things have come, New rules and net meetings just to name some. So DK and 'nova starr have met, And the rest of us haven't yet. Purple Angelica has some beautiful art, Too bad I can't say the same about her heart. Our Mods this week have really been on the ball, Even when the thanks they get is so small. Zahir, Nuime, Sensedog and the rest, Thank you for always doing your best. Without you the GD would be a mess, And Editor can only guess how much stress Has been induced while you do your job. Just know that here at GD we know you're not slobs. Sunday Comics can put up one hell of a fight, Yet he's always nice after the argument's plight. This man deserves a medal for being so grand, So each and every one of you GDers should give him a hand. Evayne_Bathory has a pretty face and heart to match, Prommie fever has died down a bit, Which is great because no one like that chit. Electronic f*****t is always fun, Tohomito's Fashion is number one! Miyuki's a has-been, Truth be told: Queen Aloe! has never been. Theery's a good guy, S-ism doesn't even have to try. The Editor was bored by you all, So he makes one final call, He loves you guys to the end, But do better so he has better material to send. This is the bland report for this week, The Editor Apologizes for it being so bleak. That's all I have to say, So GD: Go out there and have a wonderful Day!
wahmbulance NOW A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR ZAHIR (And all the other Moderators)! wahmbulance
Zahir, last Saturday you said we have nothing original of our own, right? Well I took that as a call out for something original. It's not "cute" it's not "Quirky" it's no "sarcastic". This thing I am proposing is totally serious 100%. We here in the GD appreciate our moderators who work behind the scenes in everything that we do. Though we don't show our appreciation much we really do.
Now this is my proposal. It won't come with any dumb quips or quirky photoshopped images. This is something we gaians and more-so, we GDers need to seriously do. I propose a little something called "Moderator Middle Monday".
What is this you ask? Moderator Middle Monday is the day that we GDers will remember how well you moderators are doing, and be sure to give you guys our thanks for putting up with us. The Moderator Middle Monday as I propose it shall take place on the second Monday of every month. I don't want this to be overlooked. No way. I think it should go for every part of Gaia to show our appreciation for what you wonderful moderators, administrators and paper-work-filler-outers do for us.
Your work is a thankless one, but not anymore. Thank you Moderators. Thank you Admins. Thank you fellow GDers and thank you Fellow Gaians. Without you, the Editor would be majorly bored out of his mind.
NOW IT'S DISCUSSION TIME KIDDIES!
It's the moment you've been waiting for. This week the Editor actually has a discussion for you people.
DISCUSSION QUESTION: What ways do you think our moderators should be thanked in? Do you appreciate the work our moderators do for us? What could the moderators do to improve on their work? Who's your favorite Moderator and why?
Now, I would like to turn everyone's attention to a little something for someone who helps keep the GD ticking. That's right guys, I urge you all to click the banner below and help him out on his quest. In fact, as soon as he posts in here I'm going to make a very generous donation to him, that in this quest will be about like a drop in the bucket. (but you'll have to ask him what it was wink ). So remember guys, click below to spread some love! heart

Couldn't get into the discussion above? Then I've got a second discussion for those of you who couldn't get into that discussion above!
Zahir's doing a pretty huge quest GD.
Do you think he'll finish it? How long do you think it'll take? Have you ever quested for something large? What was it? Did you get it? How long did it take? How much did it cost when you got it?
Speaking of quests, one of our favorite GDers is also questing. How about taking a look at the friendly neighborhood art auction that goes toward her quest? Editor's placed his bid: What about you guys?

One Final Discussion:
This sort of dedication to friendship is what makes the world even more beautiful.
Friendship: What's the greatest thing your friends ever did for you? Does seeing this type of dedication to friendship make you want to work harder for your own friends? What's ghe greatest thing you've ever done for your friends? What's the greatest thing your friends ever did for you?
ADDED MATERIAL:
AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR "ASK EDITOR!"
From Good Ol' GDer "Leroy":
Editor, how would Leroy best get PORN MAGZ! & Mikeypwn to participate in a hot threesome with him?
The editor suggests getting a bigger pen0r. Just kidding. Try paying for a commercial spot or an advertisement on a well-known show/website. Then, if you're poor like most of us GDers, you could always just ask the Editor, because the message will be relayed to them anyways.
From pretty well Known GDer MikeyPwn:
Are you worried about your main being banned for using a mule to make the "GD In Review" threads? And if so, why risk losing your account?
Well Mikey, you pose a very good question. However, I have four main accounts. Each one has the exact same stuff as the others, so I can risk losing up to three of them. But that's not why I risk losing my accounts. I risk losing my accounts because I enjoy making people smile, and if that's a punishable offense, then so-be-it. I think it's well worth the risk of being banned to bring smiles and joy to the hearts of fellow GDers. I love each and every one of you guys. If I can make you smile, then it's very much worth it.
From Well known GDer Soul Asphyxiation:
I'd like to know what inspired you to start this GD Editor business in the first place? I mean, what beckoned forth the want to start this. Perhaps a heated thread or malice towards other user that might become known, publicly, without flaming?
Well SA, there are three reasons why the Editor started this. The first is because the Editor is an RL journalist and he was thinking of doing something like this for world news in the newspaper. A second reason is because the Editor loves to see people smile, and anyway he can bring that about he would go about to doing it. When I saw how a CERTAIN GDer was all like "OMG SOMEONE'S A FAKE" and degrading someone's name into the dirt like that, I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to come around and bring my favorite people some smiles to escape the angst. The final reason I started this is because I like to keep a strict record of ;how I spend my day/week/year and what better way to catalog something that I do quite often, than with a poem that could satisfy the first two reasons I wanted to be "The Editor."
Thank you for your question, and your time. The Editor appreciates you.
And Finally, I saved the best for last. From Well Known GDer Dizzy_Kitten:
Who are the 5 main people in the GD that you admire and/or enjoy writing about? Why?
Alright this is a toughier. As the Editor I love each every one of you GDers, but I guess if I had to choose five... My GD dream team would be:
5: Abusive Mana: With eyes that gorgeous, who couldn't fall in love? She's a sweetheart beneath her beauty and even has some quirks about her that are unexpected at times. She always brings flavor to the GD.
4: Ali The Dairy Queen: Most people in the GD dont' like the way Ali talks, but I think it's quite becoming of her. She's a sweetheart inside and out, and even with her cute repearing of the words she continues to keep my interest. heart The editor has a soft spot for people like her.
3: Soul Asphyxiation: What's not to love about this guy? He's gay in Texas. That shows some major balls. Being gay in the South-central US is a stunning feat. Aside from that he also has a great sense of humor, a deep intelligence and a great love for others. He is a picture of perfection thought up by every emotion that makes this world beautiful to look at. My hat is off to you SA.
2: This spot is tied up by two of the Editor's Favorite people. [Buddha] and The Gee Dee. If you guys don't know these guys, they're definitely worth checking into. Buddha always has some great insight and some quirky and/or witty comment to make about pretty much anything. He has a wonderful personality and is easy to get along with. The Gee Dee made it on my dream team for a reason along those same lines: The Gee Dee is compassionate, intelligent and even worthy of his name "The Gee Dee." These two are both wonderful people, and it's just hard to choose between one or the other. Both of you guys rock. Keep up the good work: The Editor appreciates you.
And now we're down to my final pick:
1: Dizzy_Kitten. I know what you guys are thinking "Oh look he's trying to get up to prommie status, blah blah." Now let me tell you something: Would I be a naked mule if I wanted to be a prommie? I think not. Now onto my reasoning behind liking Dizzy. She's a good sport, someone who's always ready and willing to talk whenever I have a problem (even if it doesn't concern her) and she's beautiful inside and out. She's got one hell of an accent, and deserves every bit of glory that she gets.
So Diz: that's my dream-team. Does it live up to your expectations? I hope your not disappointed that I cheated and chose six instead of five. As I said, the GD itself is full of wonderful people and I love each and every one of you, but when it's narrowed down these are the ones the Editor has the most respect and compassion for. heart
Do You have a question you'd like to Ask The Editor? Then feel free to PM the Editor your question. The Editor shall choose five questions and will do the same thing next week. So PM your questions and remember: The Editor is ALWAYS watching.
