Inside my heart lies a secret garden
There once was a vine of thorns growing
A vine a bitterness and hate was intwining
With the vines of pain, anger and betrayal
They had combined and tried to smother
And kill the roses of love, honesty,truth and respect
The flowers of friendship were taken over
By the vines of jealousy and betrayal, nearly choked out
The garden needed nuturing, the flowers tried
And they struggled, reaching towards the sun
But they never had a chance
And they began to die and wither
Then a miracle happened
God sent angels to tend to the garden inside my heart
They weeded the thorns and the vines that were killing the beautiful garden
They loved the garden, tending to it
Nuturing it, it started to grow
Now all that is left is a beautiful garden
Finally in bloom
