If someone does see this, be careful, your eyes will burn afterwards. Mwahahahaha.
A rampant tale
It was a fire. It was a big and smoldering, but a fire none the less. It was an engulfing fire pit, the town had become, and my family and I were trapped in the center. The kingdom was being attacked, and there was no place to be safe. This place was foma, lies. The kingdom said they would and could protect us, so we gave in to the taxes and the back-breaking labor, but--- That was foma. We were going to die here because the only thing the kingdom could give us was not protection, but a spoiled prince and a stupid cow-ish king that both spent their time fondling women and the wonderful wine that our family produced.
As a girl in this time, one had to be careful to live modestly, and make sure one wasn't noticed by the royal family unless one actually wanted to live there in luxury. Oh, wait, so that's why everyone tries so hard! Unlike those idiots, I wouldn't have wanted to be noticed, so I always made myself invisible when it came to those idiots. Now that I think back on it, it doesn't really matter all that much. We are going to die, but I doubt the king and pirnce aren't fine--- as well as their many mistresses.
Right now, my family and I are in the wine cellar, so thankfully, it seems the fire hasn't gotten to us yet, though it has made it a little on the uncomfortable side since it's dark, we only have a couple candles, and we aren't sure if it's evne remotely safe to come out yet. Oh, and food-wise, there's nothing to have worry for since our canned goods also are in the storeroom connected to here as well.
Maybe I should introduce my family to you? My dad happens to be the sooty hard worker sitting on that barrel over there at the moment, my mom being the slightly homely lady sitting on that course blanket, and my brother is the sleeping child snuggled in my mother's lap. Now that introductions are over, time to get back to what's happening at hand.
Just as we are getting ready for the long haul, it having already been at least one day down here, we had decided to wait one more day before going above again. Just then, there were some scraping noises and billowing calls as well as trumpets. A man was calling to see if anyone was alive around here, which made my father spring up and go to unlatch the charred stone enclosure--- Just so you know, dad had enlaid stone to keep this place cooler, so though the wood might have been charred, the stone was only discolored from the fire. He opened the way into the wine cellaring coughing from the soot and calling to those out there that there were people alive here. ------

To be cont'd
