James sighed. Normally snowboarding in New Hampshire could take his mind of anything in the world. But today he was distracted. He hadn't had any sleep the night before because of the stupid dreams he had been having. They were about three surreal beings flying towards him during a huge blizzard. He was out snowboarding and an avalanche had started but he stopped to gaze into the sky because he had thought he had heard a helicopter. Instead he saw the angellic creatures flying high past him and heading west. They carried a small black and silver box that seemed to shine despite the cloudy and dark weather behind the beings. In the dream James was shouting at the three beings and they didn't seem to hear him. The smallest being in the sky finally did hear him and snatched the box and flew directly towards him.
James always seemetd to wake up at this point covered in a cold sweat and someone around him. This morning he had awoken to see his younger sister's face jammed into his. She had said he was screaming his head off.
James always felt he was different. He was one of the few black families in the tiny snow boarding hamlet in northern New Hampshire. James once had these dreams before but they had stopped. When he was 8 he went to a dream therapist and was prescribed pills that would take him straight to sleep and keep dreams away. 8 years later he had obviously stopped taking the drug. He han't had the dreams since he started on them and he was weaned off them with great success. It worried the hell out of him to have the dreams again, and this time as vivid as if he really was there.
