- i must object to a previous comment. who cares why you made a piece of art? i find that my best art comes from doing it as assignments in class. also, a lot of famous artists have only done work because they were comissioned to do so. just think of Michaelangelo and all the other Renaissance artists. their art is fantastic, yet they did it for money. as long as a piece of art grabs the viewer's attention, that is all that matters.
