- I think his tail should be longer. I like that you drew a merman, instead of a mermaid. I think his pecs look a little saggy. and Also you have dark values for the shading, you should add more light shades. Just light erase to add more light into the drawing. Don't forget to choose a point of light, and doesn't have to be a lot, since he is underwater. But as long as hes not in the deep see, there is still light in the ocean.
