i'd suggest adding just a bit of hair comming out from under the hat, mostly at the sides and back.
definatly use your own body as a model, you can help get the general idea. examine how other people draw, and see how they do things.
the other thing i suggest is to use grids, especially on the face to make the eyes and points the face starts to curve downward, to get the general shape.
pretty good though, especially if you're just starting. my starting stuff is burning worthy. - Report As Spam

I admire your boldness and find this artwork actually even in its simpleness enjoyable. Some advice...
Right now, when your work is still developing I advise if you don't already to learn how to draw hands, fingers, don't tuck them behind the back or ball them up because this ends up being a pain when your art advances.
