- the head is a bit smaller, that would mean you need to lessen body proportions. and the shoulders are too straight. everyone's shoulders slope, it maybe a bit different for each person, but it's a good little trick.

Arodem, generally when drawing females the hips are usually bigger than the shoulders, I believe that, that is what they are referring too.

I am curious as to what you think is wrong with the proportions? Do you mean because the figure isn't emaciated?
I'd say that the figure drawing is pretty spot on- her left arm (the bent one) looks a little wonky, but I wouldn't say she looks like a dude. I get it though- this is an anime board. You are all used to guys that look like girls, so a woman that looks like a woman may confuse you. - Report As Spam
