The colors blending is the easy part.
Just use a smudge brush, and use it at a rate of 70 %
Make sure the brush is small.
Use tons of colors.
Make sure the way you are 'smudging' is the way the fur goes.
Then on a new layer, use black and draw random lines.
Do the same thing x]

- i like it but the furr looks too meshed and smoth it needs to be more spiky like the pic. you still did a great job
