- Pretty damn good for a first try, in my opinion it's absolutely fine. Of course the quality of work is *always* better with more time, and so, with more time and more effort you could in theory focus in on the small details (.3 lead pencils are my personal favorite) perhaps clean up the hair, add his upper gum line, even add his shoulders and the small wrinkles around his eyes in order for him to look the age. In any case, it looks great now, definitely keep it up!
