Ignore the stupid commentary from the "Art Critics".
You have to start somewhere.
You have the basic head shape down, try to angle the chin a bit more, since you're going for tradition anime style. The hair is great, I think you should practice on doing detailing for the hair. Pick your favorite manga and check out how their hair is done and sketch out some pictures. The more practice the more it becomes natural to you.
