- Description: So, I got a new set of Derwent Pastel Pencils for Christmas, this is my first work using them, they work like a dream <3 I have sets of Soft and hard pastel sticks, but these pastel pencils <3 Another of my Quirky and classy works, a play on the Australian term (since im from Australia) for a woman being a "bird". And also the fact that birds are a creature of grace and beauty.
