2002. part of a series i shot, developed, and printed myself.
my friend mike, died a year later. the only picture i took of him was so small and insignificant in its subject matter. at the time it was a cute picture of his new shoes that he had only had for a week and had already dirtied up... but the image is the strongest one i have of him. its the little things we remember the most.
