- Description: A photograph of the Genbaku Dome (or Atomic Bomb Dome), one of the few buildings left standing in the center of Hiroshima after it was destroyed by an atomic bomb on August 6, 1945; the building is now preserved as part of the Peace Memorial Park. I was told the kanji on the stone say it is a memorial for departed souls.
