Start with the heart born in sorrow.
Light of the dawn, come tomorrow.
Feel the light upon the tree.
Warm the heart as it should be
Part of the joy in the season,
Full of good hope and sound reason.
Angels adorn boughs of spruce
Flame of the world on a candle's fuse,
Still in the night and white in the air,
Hardships packed up now for hope and care,
Voices that ring with the hope of a kiss,
Souls of the children that cold seems to miss,
Bows on the parcels tied up for the night,
Reindeers fly high with cargo lost in flight,
Sweets in the joy of people across the land,
Enemy next to enemy clasped hand to hand.
Never to know and never to see,
Just how much the holidays mean to me.
Always to feel yet never to know,
The joy of a people in a Christmas dotted with snow.

- Description: Simply this poem illustrates the idea of a general sense of the dropping of the pain from the rest of the year in exchange for hopes, happiness, and beauty. Who knows how anyone truly feels or the community may feel about Christmas as a whole? Since no one really knows, we each have to percieve this time in our own light. ~Let there be peace on earth.~
