• Waking Up to Summer and Spring

    Chirp, chirp, the birds arose and the world was up
    the mystical lights made it angelic
    I looked out my window and saw a heart-stopping
    sight, the sky,
    it was like a mural of colors
    from red to blue, yellow too.
    green and purple,
    like a rainbow.
    The birds flew from east to west.
    The beams shone like diamonds and the
    sun was beckoning "It's a brand new day."
