I sit outside
In the frigid and soft snow
Not a single sound
All is peaceful and still
Then I hear a voice
Shouting "Come inside! It's cold out there!"
It's my Momma
I must go in
To my warm house
Where my family greets me with warm hot coco and cookies
Yum!
I love the sight of my house
All decorated for Christmas
With red and green and stockings
Not one empty corner
The only sight to see is a holiday wonder
Times one thousand
I am overridden with the senses
The taste of my cookies
The sight of my home
The feeling of happiness
The joy of giving
The joy of receiving
The joy itself.
