-
Laugh it off,
As you sit around the table.
Let it wash away,
As the bells ring on and on.
Laugh it off,
Next to the fire.
Remember the times,
When happiness was second-nature.
Laugh it off,
With your friends and your family.
Remember that they aren't there forever
And cherish them.
Life throws out obstacles,
Even during this jolly time of year.
But make every second count
When you're with the ones you love
Because it's easy to miss them when they're gone.
Laugh it off and smile.

- Title: Laugh It Off
- Artist: ShadowStalker_ToL
- Description: My poem emphasizes the fact that we have to appreciate what we have, and to cherish it, because we never truly miss someone or something until they're gone. Especially during this time of year, when bells are ringing and carols are heard. Heartbreak, family issues, all of these things still affect thousands of people ... but light will eventually shine through that storm.
