• Holiday cheer and a nice cup of coffee,
Mix it with love and some pieces of toffee,
The snow, painted white, like your dazzling face,
And the girls in those dresses all covered in lace.

Dad trims the tree that is standing so proudly,
Mom moves her feet as she sings rather loudly,
It gets kind of sad when you live on your own,
Because this holiday cheer makes me feel all alone.

Please stay for Christmas, I love you so dear,
As I shiver and tremble and hug you in fear,
Of the cold winter nights where I sleep by myself,
With the thoughts of Saint Nick and a small little elf,
That prance and dance alongside of the deer.

I'll sing you a song, I'll buy you a gift,
You don't want to go out their while the snow is adrift,
Trust me, it's cold, and these nights get so boring,
You could be here, with me, love that is soaring!

It's so cold outside, please don't let me go,
We still have time for our love to grow,
And before you know it, the holiday's will die,
Please will you stay, or at least will you try?
Everyone needs someone in their lives
to spend Christmas day with, oh, how joy flows.

Holiday cheer and a nice cup of coffee,
Mix it with love and some pieces of toffee,
I'll show you a Christmas you'll always remember,
Here in my heart on this day in December.
