You ask if I will love you forever.
I can promise you hope.
I can promise you love.
I can promise you the snowflakes, in the dark sky above.
I can show you my eyes.
What resides in them? Lust.
And show you the eternity running around us.
You light up the skies
High up above me.
You are a star, so bright, you blind me.
But the troubles of this world,
Mean nothing to you.
There is no difference between what is done and what is due.
I can’t promise you a future,
One with you and me.
Past tomorrow, I am blind, and cannot see
What waits for us.
What will you do,
If I can only promise you that today,
In this moment,
I love you?
