• Chritmas lights shining bright.
Presents under the tree all wrapped up tight.
Cookies and milk by the fireplace, waiting for that certain time of night.
Bells ring out thier sweet sound.
Steps on the rooftop awaken the child.
She slips out of bed, swiftly and quietly.
The stairs squeak, the floor creaks.
She peers around the corner, eyes wide.
    There, by the tree,
    A man in red.
    Jolly fat, and smiling.
He places a few presents 'round its base.
Facing the child he smiles and winks.
    She gasps and blinks.
    He's gone.
    Bells jingle.
    She smiles.
