Snowflakes
They are born in the sky
A simple drop of water makes a master piece
Each one unique
Yet, they all form the same thing
Each one its own shape and size
A work of art that goes unnoticed
Swaying back and forth
Heading for the ground to join the trillions of others
Each one on a journey
Finally it is over
The snowflake is with his friends on the ground
It joins with them to make a vast blanket
Although it has made it to the ground, it will inevitability melt

- This is beautiful, but I don't like the description of snowflakes as a work of art that goes unnoticed. Poems are often the subject of many winter poems.
