I used to hear laughing, but I just can't find it now.
Family parties brought infectious smiles, but I just can't see them now.
The star on the tree is gone.
I look back on all the years, wondering when traditions have died.
The old Santa's list was always so fun to write, but I can't give it away now.
The star on the tree is gone.
Can I ask where it's all gone?
How Christmas Cheer has disappeared?
The bells, carols, colored lights.
Would you tell me where, if I asked?
Me, who's lost her Christmas way, who is lost on Christmas day?
When it disappeared.
Can't see the star on top of the tree.
Will you find that lonely star?
Will you help it to get through?
Will you leave that lonely star?
Will you help it to be through?
I've lost it a while ago.
The carols, bells, wrapped presents.
All went away, far away.
Hide n' seek, a lost seeker.
Lost in the deep woods of this brand new, techno world.
But... is that wrong?
It's normal now-a-days, expected now-a-days.
When I open my eyes, there is no pretty tree, no colorful wrapped gifts.
Carols? Santa? Reindeer? Jingle bells?
Sounds like a fun fantasy, right?
Whatever they are, Where ever they are, have fun!
I'm busy now, TV's on.
Stars are only in the sky.
