There once was a woman whose beauty was unlike any other. She was married to a powerful samurai and loved him so, but the woman was vain and adored her beauty greatly. The samurai suspected that the woman was cheating on him, so one night, as the woman slept, he crept into her room and slit her mouth from ear to ear yelling 'who will think you're beautiful now?!'

Description pt.2: If you ever walk out alone at night, please don't confront the beautiful woman behind the mask. If she approaches you, she will ask 'Do you think I'm beautiful?' If you reply 'yes', she will take off her mask then ask 'Even like this?' If you reply 'no', she will kill you. If you reply 'yes', she will follow you home and kill you at your door. Always answer 'so-so' to confuse her.
The woman is known throughout Japan as 'Kuchisake-onna', the slit mouthed woman.
