  • Title: STOP
  • Artist: Ifrit emperor of flame
  • Description: This is a cosplay of the anti bully theme. Before you all say oc- I tried my best to copy the bully seen in the first image. The stop sign represents the second image. The school back ground is representing every one who has been bullied at school. The dazed man on the ground is a bully stopped by the anti-bully. This is a symbolic gesture only, and in no way condoning any violence. As a message to all- think before you type, your words can hurt too!

  • im sorry you feel i manipulated it. i will enter it again next week with out the dazed individual.that should make it look closer to my ref. image. my intention was not to manipulate anything i was symbolically representing what this movement can do- stop bullies and have them change there ways.

  • So you twisted your ref image into what you wanted? You took this character, the bully with the do not symbol, and you decided he changed his ways. So he is now the anti-bully?

You've just changed what the ref image portrays. Which is a no in cosplaying.

I never said that a character needs to be widely known, but this character has like I said no name, no background, etc. It's really hard to look at this and call it a cosplay with the manipulation you've done with it.

  • and thirdly- yes i openly admit i am apart of my wifes guild, Yes this guild is a movement against bullies but you are incorrect at thinking this cosplay has to do with my wifes guild. i did this on my own, with images from my anti bully group and as i stated before i did this because it is something i believe very strongly in

  • on your next point, it is true this symbol isnt widely known but it is known. there is no rule saying your cosplay has to be widely known in order to enter. And i did not pic a picture at random. i am always trying to be apart of the anti bully movement, it is something i believe very strongly in. and this is a symbol one of many images my group uses.

  • i wasnt sure if i should add the dazed looking one or not- as i noted in the description, it is symbolic- as in a bully say the anti bully symbol and took a second look at them selves and changed there way's this is not meant to condone violence.

  • On the note of 'rude sounding comments', it's really how people perceive the comments on here. Yes, some are unnecessary rude, but some haven't been rude and are simply perceived wrong and and get slammed.

Also something I've noticed of the avatar, that "anti-bully" is drawn as the bully in the ref image. And you've got a bully beaten down in the 'cosplay'. This all suddenly looks like a bully vs. another bully.

  • Sakura; I find this a very odd thing to call a cosplay. I understand as you say it's a symbol, but it seems that by calling this a cosplay that it's okay for anyone to pick a random image on the internet, dress like the character and call it a symbol cosplay or theme cosplay. This as I mentioned before would be better suited in the other avatar arena.
