Samus Aran is the heroine of Metroid. She's a bounty hunter (who frequently overcharges for her work); and is a successful one a that. She's defeated the Space Pirate leader, Mother Brain, twice, and in the process, crushed their operations. Phazon was destroyed, due to her efforts, and the Federation has a right to fear her now that she knows of their corrupt doings.
She is not one to mess with.

@Nintendo: No, she doesn't, but honestly, I haven't been able to find a decent helmet item that doesn't have too much yellow. So, unfortunately, it's either the tacky Yoroi or the even more tacky moon/white.
