- It's actually a status symbol. If he were to throw it out it would appear as though he was being disrespectful/ungrateful of his position in soul society. The lower class in shinigami society would have the right to judge/question him as royalty for not wearing it.

- Still like Byakkun! I never liked that roof thing on his head, it look like an Osaka paper fan that just got on his head for a comedy point. He always looked waaaaay better without it. If it's some kind of Kuchiki crown, the he should of just tossed it out the window.
