I wanted to make an Ice King avatar (Adventure Time) without using the usual items, so I took a realistic route while keeping to the characters design.
Simon Petrikov was an explorer who was to be married. Until he found a magical crown. After putting the crown on once, he was drawn to it and given powers. Slowly he began to slip into madness and lost his fiancee, his princess. There is no more Simon, those memories are gone. - Hmmmmmmmmm. I would probably just use the left image without the realistic one. Either way it seems like an original avatar because Gaia obviously has better items for him. I like it though. 4/5
