- Description: During the Genpei War in 1182, Minamoto Yoshitaka was defeated by his cousin, Yoshitsune. His samurai vassal, Nishina Daisuke, fled to Iga province in order to escape. It was in this region that he met a monk named Kain Doshi, who taught him ninjutsu. Daisuke changed his name to Togakure and founded the art of Togakure ryu ninpo. To this day, his art lives on in the form of a group called the Bujinkan, run by Masaaki Hatsumi, the current soke of this art.

I know it looks nothing like the reference picture, but that is a pic of him before he became a ninja. If you'd like to know more about Togakure ryu or Bujinkan, just google it or go to winjutsu.com, where you can also find a school near you. I also would like if people can judge it fairly, as in, on the cosplay itself, not on a frickin picture. That's all I ask, God bless you and thanks.
