the bride in the original tale (the park bride) is a curse that has descended to each generation, to Mu-Yeon. The curse can be lifted only if she marries a descendant of Si-Baek Lee and they become one. Meaning married to Si-Joon. Because of her legendary ugliness she wears a pig face mask. She is old-fashioned to a fault, but her home-schooling was excellent.
