His first time playing ended with his friend mysteriously falling into a coma and acquiring the Twilight Bracelet from a girl named Aura giving him the ability to perform a Data Drain. In the game the bracelet looks invisible until it is actually used.

- I am in utter awe of how amazing this .hack// cosplay truly is. And what makes it so much more awe-inspiring is your clever use of Gaia's layering; I would have never thought of making the Crown the insignia of the hat or using Kunai for his blades. I will also mention the awkwardly large eyes (which you have already addressed), but I think either hair works fine for him. I will be utterly disappointed if this cosplay does not place.
