Representing the Starbucks Coffee Company for the last 40 years, the Starbucks Siren was inspired by a 16th century Norse depiction of a siren -- she was chosen to illustrate both coffee's history of transport by sea and Seattle's (the origin location of Starbucks) own history and foundation in seaport trade. Since then, she has undergone many changes and redesigns, but she still remains an iconic symbol of Starbucks' origins today.

- I am pleasantly surprised about this. This is really good. It is a bit off due to her having two fins, but there is nothing you can do about that. You did a really great job.
